Before Mind bender there was a band whose name was Brave face. In this band three menbers of the Mind bender (K(bass), G(guitar), N(vocal)) had been already together playing. Hiroshima was the city where The Brave face had started and grown for a while. After that, they moved up to Tokyo and kept on their musical actions. They made 2 Albums, which is called "Unknown era Ⅰ" and "Unknown era Ⅱ". In 1996 when the Y as the new drummer got into the band, the Band was reborn as the Mind bender.

Mind Bender（マインド・ベンダー）のメンバーのうち３人（ベースのＫ、ギターのＧ、ボーカルのＮ）はMind Bender 結成前、Brave Face（ブレイヴ・フェイス）というバンドで活動していた。Brave Face は広島で結成された。広島での短期間の活動の後、Brave Faceは活動拠点を東京に移した。ライブ活動のほかにBrave Faceは２枚のアルバム作品（『無名時代Ⅰ』『無名時代Ⅱ』）を残した。1996年Ｙがドラマーとして加入したのを期に、バンドはMind Bender として生まれ変わった。
